Model RPC100S - Serial Power Controller. Serial Power Controllers appear as DTE type devices on
a standard serial port (e.g. PC COM1). They operate using standard
character framing of 9600 bps, 8 data bits, one stop
bit, and no parity. Control of AC power to their attached device(s)
is performed through a simplified command string, e.g. //x,yyy,zzz;
where x is the outlet number, yyy is the wait time, and zzz is the
switch time. These controllers can function as a watchdog timer.
Model RPC100ST - Tandem Serial Power Controller. This special configuration contains dual switched outlets that operate in tandem as directed through the commands received through the single serial port.
Model RPCS6 - Six-Outlet Serial Power Controller. This table-top or rack-mountable model has six independently controlled switched outlets with a maximum 12A aggregate power draw.
Model RTC2000 Serial Timekeeper. A self-contained time-of-day clock and calendar accessed through
its serial RS232 interface. It can be connected directly to a host
computer or PC to provide an external, battery-supported timekeeping
resource. The RTC2000 supports an interactive command set that gives
system managers the ability to easily set and show the current time and
date values in multiple formats.
Model RTL2000 Serial Timekeeper with LCD. The same as above except that it includes a backlit LCD display
and keypad for visually monitoring and changing the time of day and
date. It is designed primarily for use with host computers that may
not have a battery-supported, Y2K timekeeping capability of their own.
Serial Data Buffers. A variety of configuration options exist including memory capacities from 128KB to 2MB and/or serial-to-parallel protocol conversion.
Serial Data Alarm. Provide AC power control to attached devices tied to receipt of data. Pass-through communications is supported.
Energy Saver. A special variation of the Serial Power Controller for use with printers or other office machines to turn them off during periods of inactivity and then turn them back on automatically as needed.
Software Switches. Provide customized AC or DC power control to attached devices under software control.
Serial Timing Module. Consists of a PCB assembly with four outputs. Outputs can be used for contact closure or TTL-level pulse generation applications. Custom programming is available.
